Experimental

This image was taken on a borrowed Nikon that I used to take an image of the Sun at the prime focus of my telescope. I have not used this technique before but it has the potential to get some much better shots, with clearer detail. Essentially the camera body is attached to the telescope in place of the magnifying eyepiece, set it on manual and play around with the settings until you get the best result. I did have trouble with the SD card which kept un-formatting for some reason!
The sunspots have quietened down and are now less likely to produce flares - bummer!
