Yucca Madness

The yucca plants in our front gardens are still flowering, I thought they should have finished at the end of summer but this year they must have decided to just carry on!! : ).  
Actually this one is just unfolding and really reminds me of the creature that took over the world or at least the UK from that old book from the 60’s or 70’s called The Day of the Triffids!  I think there was a movie too!!! 
I was entranced by that book and read it quite a few times back then along with all of John Wyndham books!!  I was surprised to see most of them are still quite expensive on Amazon now after all these years!
Slept in this morning which was nice but when I arose and jumped in the shower I had a rude awakening as there was no hot water eeeeek!!!!   
I had a cold shower which was terribly painful and I don’t recommend it at all!!  Once I recovered after that experience I went out to look at the hot water system and could see nothing wrong with it, not that I knew what to even look for!!!   Came in to make a cup of tea and as I was rinsing my cup realised that the hot water was working in the kitchen grrrrrr so I went back to the bathroom and ran the shower again but no no no hot water was coming out of there!!!! Grrrrrrr!!!   
Anyway as its a holiday here today I didn’t want to pay the exorbitant holiday price for someone to come and look at it and made an appointment for tomorrow, hoping for the best that its just something minor!!!  Reality is it’s probably going to be expensive ugh!!!
