Early visit to the allotment but it kept raining intermittently and was still v windy, so I just planted out some borlottis around D's new teepee and beat a hasty retreat. 

In the evening I went up to Leith Depot to meet up with Sally G (who lives approx half the year in California and half in Glasgow!) - we had a meal together and she gave me a big bag of DG's favourite candy which I said I'd pass on to him. Then we went through to the venue to see Andy White do a gig - the last time I'd seen him was when we were both on a concert in Farnham, in 1987. (Had to look that up, I would never have remembered the date). He was in excellent form, and I was pleased to hear Religious Persuasion again (a great song that doesn't age a bit). I had thought to message Trev to see if he'd be there, but he and C were still on their way back from seeing Iggy Pop in Manchester!
