Man’s best friend
The first bird (blackbird) sang at 4:06 this morning, setting off a cacophony of sounds.
Cetti’s warblers, sedge warblers ,willow warblers and chiffon chaffs are abundant here in the willow and scrubland.
A hedgehog waddled around outside a neighbouring caravan as we headed off on our morning walk at 05:30, Red kites soared above stretching their wings and moving effortlessly in the strong breeze.
Met quite a few local residents on of who used to do my grandmother‘s hair here.
I sat on a bench in the hilltop graveyard in warm sunshine looking at the view and listening to more Bird song, very medicinal.
