I've been pretty busy attending gigs of all shapes and sizes. Today however saw a return to one of my favourite formats - an acoustic sesh in a local cafe. This songwriters circle featured Martin Stephenson (out of shot), Miriam Campbell and playing here the wonderful Helen McCookerybook. It was great to catch up with Helen again - last saw her playing with Helen and The Horns on 21/5/84 at Janeys in Gourock - cost me a whole one pound to get in.
