Ring Ring

I couldn’t believe my eyes at first because, as you can see, it’s stuck slap bang in the middle of nowhere. It gave me a good laugh though.

Today I had a day on the Ardnamurchan Peninsula. Crossed Loch Linnhe via the Corran Ferry and was considering going to
Sanna Bay. The road is a nightmare though and also when you get there, there are sand dunes to cross. My walking and energy levels have improved no end but I wasn’t sure if I could tackle the sand dunes so I abandoned that plan.

Instead I headed for a remote coastal hamlet called Ardtoe which has two sandy beaches and looks out towards The Sound Of Arisaig. I discover it years ago, I think someone posted a pic on Flickr. I had the place to myself. It was on the road there that I saw the telephone box.

Called for a coffee in The Glenuig Inn and then joined the main road back to Fort William.
