Close Encounter

Slightly cooler today, so we went for a localish walk on a route which uses lanes & field edge paths. We'd seen two or three hares in the distance, running away, but suddenly another one started slowly approaching, stopping every so often to nibble something or wipe its whiskers. We stood still and I started taking photos, and it suddenly started almost filling the frame! The Blip is the final image I took - I've cropped it into square format but haven't altered the total height - then we moved and it sped on its way. We assume it was a fairly young one - it really needs to learn that two people with a dog aren't always hare-friendly!!
