I spotted her at my town’s Pride celebration today. I am happy these celebrations are still taking place given the current environment.

My hometown’s featured concerts, kid book readings by drag queens, and lots of information booths. One of these was info about an LGBTQ+ crisis phone line (now that the federal such line has been eliminated). I chatted with the women who take the calls and they all said the volume of calls for help has gone up in the past few months. And we are talking here about an area of the US and a State (Maryland) which are quite liberal… Demoralizing…

But it was good to see lots of participation at the event :))
