No such thing as too many volunteers ?

It was pacer week and a local running club had offered to fill lots of our volunteer roles.  We were given some of the names up front and had assigned them to positions on the roster.  They and many more arrived but expecting be in different roles, with questions or requests.  It was quite exhausting. In the afternoon I went for a swim.  There was a rather unpleasant bloom.  Fortunately it landed further inland than where we enter the water.
