Not a Recent Photo

but a photo of a photo...an old emergency blip trick! 

Another cold and rainy day..spent mostly indoors once more, and in front of the TV..

I'm still working on emptying old photo albums, labeling and filing the photos and today, while watching the tennis, I tackled the album of my trip to the southwest in 1993.  This one was special as I wasn't alone for the whole trip; part way through it, I picked up my daughter at the airport in Phoenix and for the next week, showed her as many of my favourite haunts in AZ, Utah and Colorado as I could fit in!  I remembered keeping a journal of this trip, so I dug it out and had a good read and immediately I was On the Road Again.. this time on Memory Lane ( extras )

Then in a fit of creative energy - I'm not sure where THAT came from - I thought, why not make one of my photo albums by taking photos of the photos and using the journal entries to tell the story?  It worked for an old pre-digital trip to Greece...so why not? 

Well, the NOT part became evident when I realized that a lot of the trip was on slides somewhere!  Oh no, not that slide-to-computer thing again! Well, that sure dampened all that enthusiasm somewhat. The project is on hold for now. Methinks I need to rethink that one!  

But I will reconsider....
