Family

I travelled to Manchester today for a family reunion, as one of my cousins is over from Johannesburg. I also got to meet his older brother (for the first time) who spent most of his life in Rhodesia but came back to the UK 21 years ago.

It was wonderful to reminisce, look at old photos and make promises to keep in touch more often. I took a photo of this picture of my Dad’s youngest brother. He’s now 85 and the only surviving male and here he is looking very smart in his Royal Marines uniform.

I collected George from the scout hut at 4pm, full of it! He’d had a ball (although the leaders looked a bit frazzled).
