Erigeron

I am a real fan of these little pink daisies. Today while sitting in the garden having breakfast I was delighted to see the hummingbird hawkmoth coming to drink from some valerian. I haven't seen one here for years and rather wish I had been quick enough to get a photo before it flew away again. Hopefully it will be back soon and I will be ready!
A busy day in the garden .. himself did wonders removing nettles from the path and also helping me to plant my new clematis to scramble through the hedge. I hope it enjoys its new home and look forward to its dainty yellow flowers followed by the tufty seed heads later in the summer
