Reward?

I had a day off with Owen today and we had plans that slowly one by one got cancelled as he was feeling a bit stroppy and uncooperative. One sticking point was practicing his reading, that he tried every which way to get out of, and I tried every which way to encourage/cajole/persuade/bribe him to do it.
We did get there eventually but by that time it was too late to really do much of anything so we had to content ourselves with a walk to the shop to get some ingredients for homemade pizzas (although Owen decided he didn't want his cooked) before we settled down to watch Kung-Fu Panda 3 and half of Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle with a bowl of popcorn. 

We'll hope tomorrow works out better...
