Brick Border

As usual, I visited my husband in Royal Papworth Hospital today, but only during the morning. I went on an early train and had breakfast in the restaurant. I came home at lunch time and planted about forty of my Busy Lizzie bedding plants, which have been in the conservatory for three weeks; I hope the frost has gone now. However, I did notice that we have had a recent frost as some of the leaves on the Kiwi fruit shrub have shrivelled, but then we live in a frost hollow so that often happens. I then did some housework and also some much-needed indoor jobs.

Today’s picture is of one of the areas which I planted today; the two bigger plants were already there. They do not look very good at the moment, but hopefully they will look better once they get established.

Temperature today – Twenty-three degrees Celsius.
