To The Woods Beyond

Sometimes I forget to cast around with a longer lens and look for vignettes, which perhaps capture more a flavour of a place that a wider shot might miss. It's also possible to show the relationship between parts of the image and to simplify shapes.

Over in the prairie, things have yet to kick off yet.

Extra: Easy Pickings. I don't often take photos of birds on feeders. I prefer to catch them in natural surroundings.
