WATCH OUT !

Thanks for all my comments this week.

This afternoon the Lepidoptera came out – this lovely Peacock was feeding in the sunshine. As I walked along Filey Brigg I was aware of many wing parts along the path. Looking ahead I saw the culprit – a Pied Wagtail was catching Peacock butterflies in flight for food. Naturally the wings are of no value to them. It made a strange stained-glass pathway – Nature at work.
