Flowering Artichoke

Have let one artichoke flower and the hover flies just love it. The veg patch was a delight to potter in gathering, watering, and tending.
Had a cheerful lunch in Aikia with my lovely son who helped me pick lighting for my newly set up study. It's magic to see him so happy about his girl. His sense of humour cheers me up so much. I'm so lucky.
