Friday Night Dinner
We had a busy day cleaning, tidying, cooking and getting everything ready for hosting dinner with our friends. It was warm enough to start with drinks outside. I made lentil and goats cheese for starter. D cooked some massive pieces of steak which we had with Parmesan potatoes, Korean courgette salad and roasted tomatoes and aubergines. D made spinach and feta filo pie for the vegetarians. I made lemon polenta cake for pudding .
Everyone was very complimentary about the food and we had a lovely evening.
