Nothing much happening

In Bateau Bay we looked for a peaceful spot to eat our lunch. We found the community sports ground. It was certainly peaceful – just one volunteer in the distance marking the lines for the next day’s soccer matches. The only other sign of life was the warning to pick up after your dog. There weren’t any dogs.

I couldn't find any history either. According to Dr Google Bateau Bay is so called because there is a bay and boats...
