Bits and pieces

No chance of a lie in today as we were expecting OpenReach for a postponed visit between 8 and 1. So it was a quick walk for Bailey before eight and lots of jobs to fill the time. I sorted out some stuff to drop off at the charity warehouse this afternoon, tidied the kitchen and made a start on a repair job. One of my birthday presents didn’t survive its delivery in one piece. Three bits attached today and left for 24 hours in the hope that the final piece will finish the job. The engineer came at half ten but couldn’t finish the job so a colleague came at half twelve and things were up and running soon after. Charity shop, supermarket trip and B&Q for garden stuff. It had rained on and off this afternoon so garden jobs will wait until tomorrow.
