Post Script
After Mum’s funeral service in Paisley Abbey yesterday, we were in attendance at Woodside Crematorium, this morning at 9.00 am as Mum was delivered for the final act.
We, then, headed off quickly to the Arran ferry from Troon to Brodick - yes, my long awaited first voyage on the new MV Glen Sannox and it was wonderful in all respects . . . don’t blame the boat!
Before we left Paisley, we took some flowers from Mum’s wreath to lay in Brodick Cemetery where our best family-friends Robert and Irene Hunter’s ashes are scattered.
We kept back two carnations, shown, to cast into Brodick Bay, with some special thoughts, with Goatfell as a backdrop.
We watched them drift slowly out of sight, but not out of mind . . . see the second extra.
The first extra is especially for StuartDB and Habbie . . . Glen Sannox berthed at Brodick pier.
