Floating Lichen

Busy and productive day. Always good to make a dent in the to do list.

M is away in Glasgow. He does the majority of the cooking (very very well, so little incentive for me to bother). I can do basics and some of it tastes fine. Did learn something today - what happens when you tip a cup of rice into boiling water - it makes a big mess. I live and learn.
