A beautiful Poppy

In memory of DC, AM, DD.

A Beloved close friend of mine some years ago gave me a large clump of poppy buds and they have flowered ever since.
This year's flowering has just begun.
Many thanks to my dear friend DC, now sadly deceased, as are the other two of our group.
The 4 of us would get together to go out watercolor painting throughout the summer, but sadly I'm the only one left now to speak of those days...
Maybe I should get my paints out again...
