Rochdale Canal

I bookended my day, with my daughter, Hannah.

We met at half-seven for a run, completing five and a half miles on the training plan she's currently following.

After that, I went into the Salford office for the day: Wednesday is office day, when everyone comes in, which is always nice. 

And after work, the Minx and I went to Waterstones to pick up a birthday present for Simon, and then had a drink at Muse. 

We decided that we'd continue our exploration of Italian restaurants in Manchester with a trip to Dom's, so we messaged Hannah to see if she'd like to join us, which she very much did. We had a lovely evening and a good meal: would recommend.

Today's photo was taken before dinner just near Dom's, looking along the Rochdale Canal, which always brings back memories of Thursday morning walks with Izzy during lockdown, once we'd secured coffees and cakes from Mancoco.
