of the sage brush. Mule deer usually make my life hell in the summer but this year we haven't had too much trouble with does trying to kill Angus. They seem to have moved deeper into a neighbouring subdivision where people are still actually trying to grow things. I have totally given up on any form of gardening and they aren't so interested in half dead lawns full of dandelions and plantain. Instead we have pack rats trying to nest in our car.. Someone suggested fabric softener sheets .. apparently they don't like the smell . I filled R's car with them as he had made a lovely nest on top of the battery... One day later the nest was rebuilt with lovely white softener sheets. So much for that little theory! The battle of wits continues....
