Identity uncertain

We discovered this pair in the garden today but Google is not specific on identification. No worries, I thought, one of my blip friends will know what they are! ???????
Later I went along to the allotment with John to help with some basic tasks - I am entrusted with the watering!
Now looking through all the many images from our trip to Spain last September - rather too many 'snaps'; I should take fewer but be more careful.
