Coronation Picture
I was in Mr Bees Vintage shop today and came across this oddity, it's a lenticular screen picture of Prince Phillip and the Queen to celebrate the coronation.
Nathan tells me that the story behind it is that it belonged originally to a gentleman in Rotherham who won 'a best dressed chimney sweep competition' and this was his prize.
I love lenticular screen pictures and have a camera 'the Nimslo 3d Wizard' which has 3 lenses and takes pictures that can be printed up on a lenticular screen, just like this but in colour.
Sadly it's really difficult to find any where to get them printed, the Widescreen Centre in Dorset St. London used to do it but sadly no longer.
It's a shame as it's a great system, how can you not love 'plastic jesus' pictures.
