watarase basin

after i came back from all night karaoke at 7am, i took a 2-hour nap, then i went to meet up with the volunteer teacher from my school so she can show me the mulberry trees in our town.

at first i thought it was just one tree, but it turned out to be a whole stretch of road of mulberry trees! then she also showed me the watarase basin, where this picture was taken, and we went to get sushi afterward. it was the most amazing sushi i ever had.

the lack of sleep was worth it.
