Scallop Shell

Sometimes it's just something that you casually notice which suggests a subject for a blip photo. Today it was the shape and form of this scallop shell. It's been on the bathroom floor for about a week and I haven't really taken any interest. Maybe it was destined for use as a soap dish and perhaps I should have asked!
Scallop shells are often associated with St James the Great and are a symbol used by pilgrims travelling the way of St James (Camino de Santiago).
