Maggie’s,Forth Valley.

One of those wild, wet windy days when a Blip seemed almost impossible. After lunch we togged up and set off for Larbert Loch adjacent to Forth Valley Royal Hospital. There is a lovely path all the way round the loch and it is fairly sheltered.

Maggie’s Forth Valley is near the beginning of the loop round the loch. We were stunned to see the beautiful grounds in which it was set.  What a peaceful, serene place for all those needing information and cancer support.

Further along we saw a brood of ducklings (10) and 6 cygnets. Extras

As we were going back to the car a gorgeous Welsh Springer Spaniel came towards us. We just had to stop , chat and pat. He reminded us so much of our Sam whom we got just after we got married.

All these lovely surprises on a rather wild day when few folk were out and about.
