Thursday
A hot, muggy day.
Hetty and I walked the long route, via Quakers Walk, to the market. This means the minimum daily step count (10000) is done before lunch and anything else is a bonus.
There's a stall that sells herb plants. I bought a Rosemary, a Basil Mint and a Lavender. All the way home, I could smell the combination. They are all now planted in a tub outside the front door.
My cordyline has produced 6 flower spikes this year. I've never had more than two before. The smell is quite pungent. I'm not sure that I like it but the bees certainly do.
