Hawkbit
Crikey the wind has got up out there! I sat out on the patio bench, hair flying around my head, the mini meadow on speed, waiting for the smallest of lulls to capture this, one of my favourite meadow plants, hawkbit. The bees and bugs which were about were staying low to the ground so a bug capture will have to wait for a calmer day.
It's been a staying close to home day with the rainy morning and breezy afternoon. I filled the feeder in the drying ground and retrieved the camera to see if I could spot what was emptying it out - 135 videos of jackdaws and a couple of me wandering about!
Back home it was cuppa time and then I set about cleaning upstairs ahead of the girls arriving this weekend. That took me up to lunchtime and then it was down to the village for Freddos for the Nature Trail prizes on Sunday. I also took the out of date medications Tony cleared from the cupboard to the pharmacy for disposal and stocked up on new ones.
I called in at M's for a catch up but there was no answer so I'm thinking she is at Luncheon Club.
I received my referral for physio today so now I have that and the steroid injection on the calendar so I'm feeling more hopeful about my knee.
