Maid in Wales

Life in miniature.

J dropped me off in town this morning, as I didn't feel quite up to going to the gym. I wouldn't have gone if I hadn't had to collect an online order from Boots, as the weather was horrible. I saw the lady who owns the antique shop, setting up her wares outside, so I asked her if I could have a look inside ( I bought my first Welsh blanket from her) The shop is rammed with items on every available surface. most of which I wouldn't give house room, but each to his own. This Japanese miniature scene was worth a blip, I thought, but who would buy it?
I caught the bus home and was only out about an hour. J arrived home a few hours later with a lovely surprise for me. He had made a de-tour through Ewenny, and stopped off at the shop there which sells genuine Cornish pasties, freshly baked, for our evening meal, and even better a HUGE custard slice. my absolute favourite cake.  I think he's a keeper:-)
