End Of The Road

And so after six years at Emerald Sixth Form and 44 years since I started along this road, I have reached the end.

My last official day as a teacher. Tomorrow is Graduation and I am merely a spectator (and photographer).

I thought I would feel somewhat elated as I walked to my car and lugged the bag with my laptop in it into the back for the last time.

But I didn't.

I felt really rather sad.

I expect I'll get over it!
