No, it’s not the Seine…..

…..it’s the (mighty) Yarra! I’ve been to Melbourne quite a few times over the years but always for a specific event (eg cricket test, veterinary conference, Melbourne Cup) but never as a tourist so today we went for a river cruise. It took us under various historic bridges, past the MCG, Rod Laver arena and Botanic Gardens - very pleasant!
Off to a flash restaurant tonight with some of isbi’s old travel companions and back up north in the morning.
