D/S Hestmanden

Fetched some geraniums from Margiota in the morning; they'd been on the shelf unwatered for several days, so will need some recovery work. 

Afternoon walk to the dock at Ocean Terminal to visit D/S Hestmanden, the Norwegian war sailor museum steam ship, visiting Leith until tomorrow, 30 May 2025, as part of the Liberation Convoy : 5 historic vessels sailing to Great Britain in a grand celebration of peace in 1945. @hazelh described the exhibits . 
The steam boiler was hot; the blip is one of the connecting rods and part of the crankshaft on the steam engine.

A steady stream of people visiting. The entry point is at the exit for the Ocean Terminal carpark. Steep steps and rope handrails.  We came back by tram.
