Tut tut! Looks like rain!

More sunshine and showers!

The first tee on the PGA Centenary Course at Gleneagles, the scene of next week's Johnnie Walker tournament, and next year's Ryder Cup.

The little oak tree in the right foreground on the raised ground was grown from an acorn brought back from Oak Hill Golf Club in Rochester N.Y.- the scene of a European Ryder Cup Victory in 1995 and Bernard Gallagher 's third time lucky as Captain.

For golf fans it will always be remembered as Seve's Ryder Cup, because so many of his shots were wayward, but he still was brilliant and kept his singles match alive with a series of magical recovery shots.
( Think I could get a job as a sports journalist ?!)
