Passionflower

I have been waiting for these to start blooming in abundance but I kept seeing a bud or small flower. I tossed out some fertilizer before our last couple of days rain so today I got the reward. Many more buds as the vines climb over the old bicycle by the oak.

Hoping the deer don’t decide to have a snack.
