Breakfast

This Great Spotted Woodpecker was eating his breakfast at the same time as I was, so I fetched my camera. I probably had more food stuck around my mouth than he did!!  I positioned the bird feeder opposite the kitchen when I put it up a few months ago, and it's lovely to be able to see all the bird activity, especially at the moment - it's non-stop. 
Swimming cancelled today as a problem at the pool during the night meant that the pump wasn't working. Instead I visited a friend who is going to look after Ziggy for a couple of days next week so that he could get to know her house, and we took him for a walk around some of her local footpaths so that he's a bit familiar with them next week..
