Bristol
We are leaving today and walked down to the village for breakfast before packing the car, It was sad to leave Margo pusscat, she came out to say goodbye, a dear little girl. Her mum will be home this evening.
We decided to take a look at Bristol, it isn’t far from Newnham via Chepstow and the Severn Bridge and now booked into a pleasant hotel in the old part of the city leaving the car in a multistory, three minutes away. A strange feeling.
It was a warm sunny, afternoon with youngsters everywhere, student age, it all felt lively. By the time we reached SS Great Britain at the far end of the harbour it was closing up, we caught a glimpse and enjoyed the walk. We had an early dinner, a Chinese, which was fine, and back to the hotel. I am midway through a cold and feeling rough, it was good to be outside this afternoon and now ready to curl up and read.
