Doocot
Another slowish start to the day. Lying in bed, I could hear the wind blowing, and I knew it had been raining. There were more chores, then a wee walk, then a run of around six miles. Although it was windy, it was a very warm wind, which was in complete contrast to the bitingly cold easterlies which we have been contending with of late. Even though it was windy, it was my best run for ages.
We went in search of plants later in the afternoon, and got done of what we wanted. We parked up at Smeaton, then went for a walk. We came home via the shops, and picked up provisions for a quick tea of hush finger sandwiches.
We were both weary again. TT had been awake since 4am, so he disappeared to bed early.
We walked past Drylawhill doocot this afternoon.
