Weeding Wednesday….
….maw has made Wednesday the day she shall visit to provide gardening consultancy. For now, that’s advice, and some practical support, on weeding.
To everyone’s delight, whilst we sat having lunch in the sunshine, a hurcheon poked out its nose from the bushes, attracted no doubt by the mealyworms I’d scattered for the blackie family.
Later, I finished the levelling of the garden intended for the polytunnel and began building a sleeper wall around it to prevent the uphill soil moving down toward it.
