Back to the Rijks Museum this morning to see the 1st floor, including three Van Goghs. I find it extraordinary how many people only stop to snap a painting on their phones and immediately move on to the next one, without engaging with the art in any conceivable way. And why photograph weel-known paintings when good reproductions are freely available online and in books? Baffles me.
To the Maritime Museum this afternoon, then beer and bitterballen before the obligatory canal cruise. Now at the Muziekgebouw for the second concert of the day, jazz, baby.
I should add here, because editing an entry on my phone is a PITA, that I attended an excellent, free, lunchtime concert at the Concert Gebouwe as well.
