Damsel Afternoon...

As we had to visit M & S to buy a shirt for my other half for his nephews wedding this week, we opted for an afternoon visit to Trentham. It meant we didn't have to travel over to Stoke twice!

I really wished I'd brought my 90mm macro lens with me as there were damselflies everywhere. I just had to managed with the 60mm and telephoto lens. We spotted, common blues, blue-tailed, and even red-eyed damsels. And in the extras is a grey heron doing the sun worshipping wing arrangement? From what I've searched it may be doing this to regulate its body temperature...

We then went to the Greek restaurant for a bite to eat. With the final stop off for the shirt purchase.
