Rhodie season...

The ubiquitous Rhododendron Ponticum is flowering in profusion all over Argyll and the West , but of course there are many other types of rhododendron that bloom at various times of the year.

We have a variety of them along the side of the garden , and there are six displays at various stages at present.   This one has particularly attractive markings but I have added several others as extra photos.
