Angel

Spent the morning at the Uffizi Gallery - so much to look at … Italian renaissance art, Roman sculpture and the gallery building itself is amazing. Michelangelo, Da Vinci, Raphael, Caravaggio and Botticelli’s Birth of Venus is beautiful. I also really enjoyed the artists’ self portrait rooms.

This little painting ‘Angel Playing a Lute’ by Rosso Fiorentino 1521 was perhaps my favourite of the visit.

Very busy, so then went up to the open spaces of the Gardenia Boboli for greenery and calmness.

Another memorable day in Florence.
