Melbourne and Van Gogh
This is a phone pano of the 270 degree view from our apartment in Melbourne. In fact it must be a 300 degree outlook if you include looking back from our bedroom.
We expected wet weather but it has mostly been overcast with odd bursts of sun and sprinkles. Typical for here I guess.
This morning we went to the digital Van Gogh exhibition. It was fantastic In itself with the vast room covered with changing projected images of his work. (Extras give a bit of an idea. I wished I’d had my wide angle lens).
But even better was the Virtual Reality tour. An extra $20 and worth every cent. It was totally surreal. You felt like you were walking through his home and 1800s Paris, with a ride in a horse drawn dray taking you through Van Goghesque countyside. If you have the opportunity to see it don’t miss the VR part.
