Birdy Bliss

The Hubby, my girl and I got up early to head off to a nearby town to visit a wildlife exhibit. We go about once every other year. Actually the Hubby hasn't been ever before. I usually find a friend for my Sugar to go with us. This time...it was just a family outing, and it was so fun.

In this park, you drive around and travel through different areas of the world. Some of the animals are behind chainlink fences like this here Lioness. She was so pretty. Some animals are behind electric fencing like these bears. They are so fun to watch playing the water. Some animals are just roaming free like this here Emu. So many wonderful animals to see from the safety of our own truck.

Then we headed into the village where we can see some other animals, and get something to eat.

I took so many photos, but I just had to feature this shot of my Sugar in the aviary. She could have stayed in there all day. She loved holding and feeding the birds. She just felt so happy and proud that the birds weren't scared of her. I think this photo captures her feeling so well.

Before we left, we drove around the park again, and got to see some of the animals a bit better, but most were napping in the shade. Morning is definitely a better time to go there.
