"Sitting By The Riverside"...

...Today, on our way down to one of the brickyards to get some more large pavers, we noticed this Father and Son, sitting by the river's edge completely surrounded at one time with pelicans, seagulls, ducks, and magpies, all waiting for a little piece of bread or a chip..

...They are reasonably well behaved along there, especially the seagulls and the pelicans are not big fellows, they're all pretty well fed, as a lot of holidaymakers and office workers take their lunch down along there from time to time..

...It's a nice place to be, especially for the children, and most people who have visited the area have memories of this spot...

...Pretty soon millions of dollars are going to be spent right along here to beautify the area - even more..but we shall remember it - just like this...with the old P.S.Melbourne moored at the Old Landing there alongside of the houseboats up further..
