A very soggy Alan Titchmarsh

This morning Mr MC and I went to one of the local nurseries where we could get ornamental bark but not pavers for our fairy dell project.  As the rain arrived when we were leaving, they will have to wait for another day.
The rain was very welcome though as the garden had become bone dry, even with our watering new plants, and even established flowers were looking parched.  Pictured is Rosa Alan Titchmarsh, in our front garden, looking refreshed by the rain.
This afternoon I had a video chat with my friend H, who with her husband has moved to a Suffolk village.  It was lovely to catch up and discover that they do not regret the move one little bit!
